		<description>Willard - Greatly enjoyed reading this update on the JRC, and it&#039;s encouraging to hear that it&#039;s still alive and (reasonably) well. I really miss the old downtown Tower (I worked there, VERY briefly, 25 years ago), and several long-shuttered Village stores. 
And you&#039;re right about the Louisiana Music Factory in New Orleans - it&#039;s a real treasure trove of NOLA music. During Jazz Fest week, it&#039;s a great place for in-store performances, too.
Another favorite, in the South, is Waterloo Records in Austin, although I haven&#039;t visited in years. Then there&#039;s my favorite local store - Vinyl Fever in Tampa.
It&#039;ll be a sad day if/when these places disappear.</description>
