The other selections here ( i've heard almost all of them) I think really ARE the year's best, making it even more of an honor to be included. Great to see a post from Nasar Abadey here, someone from whom I got much early inspiration, listening to his group, Birthright, in Upstate NY. Now hearing great things about son Kush, tearin' it up w/ Wallace Roney. The river keeps flowing .... Thank you, Willard. Wishing you a very Happy New Year, and hoping that 2010 brings a little more Peace, Love & Understanding to the world. Being on THIS list, one compiled by someone who DEEPLY KNOWS,
