What a nice piece and indepth look into such a multi-dimensional figure in the arts. Thank you Randy and thank you Willard for bringing this story to the people and the world of the arts. I’ve never been to Africa but through your work and story it will take me there…maybe I’ll get there one day.

Glad to hear that Mr. Jenkins has collaborated with Randy Weston on a autobiography. Mr. Weston has been a favorite of mine since I first heard Blue Moses following my freshman year at college. I have many of his albums & cds & have had the pleasure of having a conversation with him on a couple of occasions. A great musician & composer & a really kind, warm man. I will be looking for this book. Thanks Willard & Bret.
